Framing matters, what do I mean by that? Lets say I give you some advice on how to work your marketing systems. It made perfect sense to you and it honestly sounded pretty logical. Then Alex Hormozi also gave you advice on your marketing systems but it was completely the opposite of my advice. Who would you choose? Probably Alex Hormozi because he’s proven to accomplish more than myself which puts him in a better frame. Borrow others frame & fame to further resonate with your audience and instantly grab attention
Borrow Interest → Informative Frame → Your Input → Engagement / Soft CTA
We’re not taking off someone’s name, we’re just borrowing it for the viewers attention ;) let’s say for this example we are helping entrepreneurs become more productive
Example: Instead of “Here are 3 productivity hacks” Try “Here’s how Elon Musk organizes his work day”
They only are here due to interest we just borrowed, keep their attention by giving them the information they are here for. Keep this short and simple, we don’t want this video to be an MTV interview aftermath.
Example: Elon plans his day into 5 minute slots with everything pre-planned in advance
Now this is the time where you take back authority and show them your not just a news reporter. Add some sort of value to this video other than informing them about for example elon’s crazy work schedule. (Optional) Toss a little bit of social proof in there if you want to add some spice
Example: This technique is called Timeboxing, Timeboxing is the practice of setting a fixed amount of time for each task and integrating those blocks of time into your schedule. I use this on a daily basis and it has helped me and my clients accomplish every goal we’ve set this year.
So you now have a choice, you can choose to either add an engagement CTA to try to increase visibility of this post or you can use this post to bring awareness to your offer, especially if you added some social proof
Engagement Example: Follow for more productivity hacks
